Mylène, the Cerberus force must investigate the disappearance of young Alice. Can you tell us more about her?
Alice Tanguay disappears and apparently she is a young model girl. She competes in children's beauty pageants and lives with her grandmother Lucie Tanguay. Her mother is dysfunctional, so she lives with her grandmother. It's a suspicious disappearance; Alice leads a quiet life and gets good grades at school. An Amber Alert is triggered and the troops are in their element and know exactly what to do and when. We discover that little Alice's smooth life has several flaws. She doesn't like being a “mini-miss” anymore and she's a lot darker than we think.
Do viewers know where Alice is?
We will see her after a few episodes. We see what paths the police have to take to find her. This is really interesting because what we thought was true turned out to be false. We are watching as the police advance their investigation.
What specifically awaits your character?
My character is still in the anti-gang squad. She finds herself caught up in a bizarre investigation. We receive many calls from people complaining about finding hamburger steaks in the power outlets, which is preventing them from charging their car batteries. This affair gets on Lily-Rose's nerves. She sees everything within herself
Colleagues from Cerbère are working on a major investigation while she handles calls denouncing vandalism. Robert Larouche (Hugues Frenette) has no choice: it's an order from Lamontagne (Benoit McGinnis). However, the situation will get even worse as bombs will explode all over the city. Groups will claim responsibility for the attacks and it will be a race against time. We'll be sitting on the edge of our seats, like in 24 Hour Flat!
A third investigation is related to a reality TV show. What has happened there?
My character will come and help Cerberus to investigate the death of a reality TV contestant who died in the middle of the show. In fact, we will see that the two teams are very supportive of each other. We need to determine whether it was suicide, an accident or murder.
What about Lily-Rose's loved ones?
We separated at the end of the fall season, Pascal (Jean-Simon Leduc) and I. He is going on a trip to recharge his batteries and I will take the first steps with Renaud Magloire (Frédéric Pierre). The season begins, we're in love, but there's still a little friction between the two of us. I want to keep this relationship secret because I was dating my ex-boss's son, Stéphanie Duquette (Sophie Prégent). I don't want our bond to seem too strong. Magloire is having a hard time. He wants to tell everyone. In fact, my colleagues aren't crazy: they see that we look at each other, that we often arrive together in the morning. Lily-Rose feels a little paranoid. She is sure that Captain Duquette knows and that she is angry with him. It becomes a source of stress for Lily-Rose. While dealing with the issue of organ donation trafficking, she also experienced a psychological setback that will continue to haunt her.
Did you like playing police and bandits as a child?
Maybe… in playground organizations, in the summer. I've always been a fan of mysteries and puzzles. I loved playing Clue and trying to figure out who the culprit was. I think I particularly liked the role of the detective! (laughs)
