Jéssica França Ferreira, exwife of actor Hugo Gross, broke into a condominium in Vargem Pequena, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, in the early hours of this Monday (1st). She partially broke the gate, left the actor's vehicle damaged and was eventually arrested by police for disobeying officers. Gross is president of the Artists Union (Sated) and also director of the Grande Rio samba school.
Delegate Rodrigo de Barros Lopes from the 42nd Police Station in Recreio do Bandeirantes reported that the complaint was made by the security guard and the manager of the condominium. Groß was initially not involved in the crime. She was charged with the crime of criminal damage to property with lesser potential for assault.
The actor told the newspaper O Globo that he was not aware of the complaint and that he was no longer in contact with Jéssica, from whom he had been separated for eight months. Gross would not confirm whether the wrecked car belonged to him; Police discovered that the vehicle belonged to the actor as it was registered in his name.
Security footage showed Hugo Gross' exwife smashing the side windows and windshield of the car parked in the back of the parking lot. A video recorded on a cell phone also showed the crime and the moment when the police arrived and tried to detain Jéssica. She resisted the officers' attacks and was upset because she was being recorded.
Before Hugo Gross got into the car, Hugo Gross' exwife made fun of someone who accused her of acting aggressively against the police: “Now everything is being attacked, everyone wants to make money because they attacked.”
Jéssica França Ferreira and Hugo Gross were already involved in a police case in 2016, when they were together. The woman said she was the victim of an attack on his orders by employees of the building where she lived, in Jacarepaguá (West Zone of Rio de Janeiro). In his defense, the actor accused Jéssica of calling the bar's bouncer a “dirty monkey.”
