He also appeared on CNN's New Year's Eve broadcast, where he told hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper about his recovery.

“I'm just so blessed to have so many things to live for, brother.” I have a huge family, I have a 10-year-old daughter, [and] “I would have disappointed and really ruined a lot of people's lives if I had passed, and so there is a lot for me to improve on,” Renner replied.

“There was a lot to fight for and recovery was a two-way street for me.” “My recovery was a relief for me because I knew I could help my family, my daughter and everyone I really affected. could provide relief,” he said.

“I never thought about my own physical problems, my own pain or my own fears. I had to fight for so many things, so the road to recovery was a one-way street of my mental mindset, and that mindset was always to get better. There is no other option than this. And I still work every day in every way and thank God that I have a lot to fight for,” he added.
