The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) launched an Amber Alert on Tuesday to find one-year-old Zeynab Cherrabi El Alaoui, who has been missing since last night in the Lachine sector.
The girl is 60 centimeters tall. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She wears a pale pink romper with a pink and white unicorn on it.
She was last seen in the Lachine area of Montreal. Police operations are underway in the area. Surveillance cameras would be checked in the coming minutes, assured Jean-Pierre Brabant, spokesman for the SPVM, around 2 p.m.
The main suspect is Miryanna Monterrosa-Laberge, 18 years old. The young woman is 160 centimeters tall and weighs 54 kilograms. She has a scar on her left upper lip and another on her forehead.

The little girl was in the care of her grandmother and under the protection of the DPJ.
The girl's father, a 20-year-old man, was arrested in Laval early Tuesday afternoon. Police operations are also underway in this area.
Police confirm they triangulated the mother's phone. This would also be located in the Laval region.
According to Agent Brabant, an open window in the girl's room suggests that there may be a kidnapping. The child's absence was discovered around 9 a.m. that morning.
Police are asking anyone who sees Miryanna Monterrosa-Laberge and Zeynab Cherrabi El Alaoui to call 911.
