'Hold onto. “Sike, sike, sike, sike,” the 41-year-old hip-hop icon said in a video uploaded by TikTok user @raptherapth on Monday.
“I’m not playing this song anymore, guys.”
As the crowd reacted with audible disappointment, Nicki (née Onika Maraj) clapped back: “I don't like this.” What should I do? It's a stupid song!'
In the comments on the TikTok post, fans expressed concern about Minaj's upcoming tour, pointing out that Starships “still pays her bills” because it is a “fan favorite.”

And while Nicki performed her 2010 hit “Super Bass” and her 2023 hit “FTCU” during her midnight set, she's historically never been a fan of “Starships.”
“I hate spaceships. “I mean, um, spaceships,” Minaj lamented to Genius.com in 2020.
“I'm like, 'Why did I do that?' “I really think that every time I hear it.”
“The Big Difference” star continued: “I wish I had never recorded Anaconda.” I like the video but ugh! My very first solo song on Billboard was Your Love. To this day I like the video but I hate the song. I could go on like this forever.'
