“It was “entertainment” for the people” – Alicia Moffet on her separation from her daughter’s father – Le Journal de Montréal

Alicia Moffet, 25, spoke on the podcast's microphone in particular about her separation from her daughter's father, Alex Mentink Open your game by Marie-Claude Barrette.

“My daughter doesn’t remember her father and me together. I'm happy because I have the impression that if I had waited longer she would have seen some arguments,” confessed the singer and influencer, who took her first steps as a presenter in the last season of Occupation Double alongside her lover Frédérick Robichaud undertook.

His daughter Billie Lou was two and a half years old at the time of the separation. “My attitude when I left her father was that I didn't want my daughter to grow up thinking that was love. I couldn’t let her grow up there,” Alicia Moffet explained.

The separation was made public in December 2021. “It was entertainment for people. I was 23, I was a baby. I had a child at the age of 20… I leave the father of my child in pain and misery, and I have to live it in front of thousands of people patting me on the head…” stressed Alicia Moffet Emotion.

“I assume I went with someone else. I know what I did or didn't do. (…) I can also say that I have no regrets, that I am happy and that my daughter has a beautiful relationship with this man and with her father.

“I won’t be embarrassed to tell my daughter.”

Alicia Moffet also returned to her meeting with her lover, the entrepreneur Frédérick Robichaud, also a candidate for the Occupation Double and with whom she has been a couple for several years. “He is exactly the dream man I described to my friends.”

“I met him when I was still in a relationship. I met him in a bar. I was very distressed for the next two weeks. Because I was in a relationship that wasn't going well for a long time, I thought, “Oh my God.” I really had a crush on Fred.

The artist also described his dilemma: “Do I choose stability and comfort in a relationship that isn’t going well? Or do I lose the chance to have something that fulfills me, that makes me happy and that takes me somewhere else?

“It's scary. I had a house, my ex was my manager. We had everything together. It was so scary to make this decision that may have seemed simple to many, but was heartbreaking.”
