Popular actor Yaniel Castillo shared a funny video on his social networks about the differences between a Cuban and an American doctor.

In the footage, the doctor can be seen caring for the four-month-old girl and explaining to the mother that she can give her small portions of food when she is six years old.

The Cuban, on the other hand, tells her to start with the malanga puree and that the girl is “whole.”

“That girl is mommy-sized!” Castillo commented alongside the clip.

The video sparked a wave of comments on the post. “Pure reality, at 4 months they first eat taro with milk, then with chicken and then with meat and milk that came in tubes and put in jars that were never cleaned by the winery hahahaha,” says one.

“I loved it”, “How funny”, “You are the best”, are other comments that can be read in the publication.

Castillo, who was embroiled in controversy after presenter Alexander Otaola declared that he would take legal action against him for impersonation, explained what happened in an interview for the program La Casa de Maka.

“I parachuted out of the plane, which means I didn’t jump out to do something I couldn’t do,” he said.

According to him, he had decided – in an innocent way – to take advantage of the character's increasing popularity. At first he advertised a spa and Otaola even expressed that he would start the shop. “Later I took one from a travel agent and the comment wasn’t that funny and then another one with Carnota and he publicly said there was a demand for it.”

Responding to some people's comments that he became famous “at the expense of this character”, he replied: “You have to keep thinking about it, I did not become famous at the expense of this character, in any case it is thanks to my talent.” “

Yaniel assured that he respects the fact that he will not continue to promote the character. “I don’t want to denigrate anyone and it’s not my job to denigrate anyone. I am an actor.”

Castillo, 35, graduated from the University of the Arts (ISA) with a degree in acting. In Cuba he worked with the renowned theater group El Público under the direction of Carlos Díaz. He was also part of the cast of the piece “Rascacielos” by Jazz Vilá.
