Whether you're a fan of his music or not, Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger appears to be good friends with Wayne Gretzky, with whom he watched the Vancouver Canucks game on Tuesday night.
“La Merveille” was at Rogers Arena to watch the British Columbian team take on the Ottawa Senators. Kroeger was at his side, as was Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini.

Many on social networks described this trio as unlikely, especially since the former ice hockey player and the artist apparently have no connection to Vancouver. Gretzky is from Ontario and Kroeger is from Alberta.
One thing is certain: the best scorer in the history of the National Hockey League seemed to have made his guests laugh with his anecdotes. The Rogers Arena host also took the opportunity to play Nickelback's music while the group member appeared on the giant screen.
Meanwhile, the Canucks won the game 6-3.
