Country singer João Carreiro dies after complications during surgery

Country singer João Sérgio Batista Corrêa Filho, better known as João Carreiro, died this Wednesday (March 1st) at the age of 41. He did not survive after complications arose from heart valve surgery. The information was confirmed by the singer's manager. “I spoke to him yesterday, he was smiling, confident and calm, but unfortunately he couldn't handle it,” Diego Diniz said.

Cuiabáborn João Carreiro, who has more than 900,000 followers on Instagram, rose to fame with the song O Bagulho é Louco, Mano, which has been viewed 18 million times on YouTube. The singer was also a duo with Capataz and founded the duo “João Carreiro e Capataz”, with which they celebrated the hit Bruto, Rústico e Sistemático together.
