North Korea has supplied Russia with missiles to attack Ukraine, the White House assures

Pyongyang's support for Moscow shows no signs of waning. Missiles supplied by North Korea to Russia were used to attack Ukraine, the White House said on Thursday, January 4, 2024, condemning a “Consistent and worrying escalation” Kim Jong Un's support for Vladimir Putin.

Delivery of several ballistic missiles

“According to our information, North Korea has recently supplied Russia with ballistic missile launch systems and multiple ballistic missiles.”Some of which were then used in attacks on Ukraine on December 30th and then on January 2nd, said US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.

The US and its allies will now take the matter to the UN Security Council as this missile transfer constitutes a violation of UN sanctions against North Korea, said John Kirby.
