Britney Spears has ended her singing career. The artist confirmed the information in the caption of an Instagram post and denied the possibility of producing a new album.
“Just to clarify that most of the news is nonsense!!! They keep saying that I turn to random people to make a new album… I will never return to the music industry,” the artist assured.
She, whose most recent release is “Hold me Closer” (2021), a partnership with Elton John, also explained that she works as a songwriter and assured that she does it for fun. “For those of you who have read my book, there is a lot you don't know about me… I have written over 20 songs for other people in the last two years!!! I’m a ghostwriter and honestly I like it!!!”
