The eight players with the most points advance to the seventh event, the Honda NHL Shootout, where each player chooses which goalie to shoot against. Following the Honda NHL Shootout, the top six point scorers advance to the eighth and final event, the Pepsi NHL Obstacle Course, where the total points are doubled.
“We decided to add a third night to an already exciting weekend,” said NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer. “We felt like this was a year where we needed to make some changes.”
