Mahée Paiement has had a career as an actress spanning almost 40 years and has long had a passion for singing. “I love acting, but I also love singing! I'm also very happy to have taken part in Masked Singers, where I was hidden under the puppet costume. It was a great experience for me and one that people still talk to me about a lot. When the Zénith team approached me, I immediately said yes. I can't wait to embark on this adventure, which will consist of large-scale variety performances. It's very exciting! I never pursued singing as a career, but it seems like the stars aligned.”

Note that in this second season of Zénith, hosted by Véronique Cloutier, Mahée Paiement alongside Lulu Hughes, Steve Veilleux, Christian Marc Gendron and Barnev, Céline Dion's backing singer, the Generation

In addition, Mahée Paiement is pleased to reconnect with the character of Mélanie, the mother-in-law of Guy A. Lepage's character, in the new season of Un Gars, Une Fille, available on Tou.tv Extra. In these new episodes, Mélanie, who has been in a long-term relationship with Guy's father, played by Pierre Lebeau, appears for the first time accompanied by her son Anakin (Mattis Savard-erhoeven), who works at NASA. “Audiences will have a lot of fun finally discovering this character in the flesh. Mattis, who plays Anakin, is truly talented and I'm sure he will have the opportunity to shine in future roles. For her part, Mélanie still loves her old lion and has unconditional love for her son, even if what he says doesn't make sense. For me, this comedy is a real treat project for which the door always remains open.

A busy mother

On a personal level, Mahée Paiement ensures complete happiness. “My life is stable and happy. It suits my lover really well. However, I no longer want to reveal my love life publicly. I want to maintain my privacy.” Nevertheless, the artist says she is very proud of her three children: Gabriel, Philippe and Eva, aged 6, 8 and 12. “My children are doing wonderfully. My sons are two mischievous and very nice little boys. For her part, my older daughter Eva has expressed a desire to play in recent years. She got small roles here and there and is now part of an agency. She has a very strong artistic side. In addition to her studies, she does dance, jazz and various other activities. Mahée Paiement also remains an experienced businesswoman. “My perfumes have been available in Jean Coutu pharmacies and on my website for 15 years. It’s fun to see that there is a nice continuity on this site,” she concludes.

ALWAYS FIXED CREEK AND BOAT

Mahée Paiement is very attached to the Tale for All Bach and Bottine, in which she made her cinematic debut in the 1980s, and declares that she will not be associated with the revised version of this classic, entitled Mlle Bottine, scheduled for release in 2024 is the young Marguerite Laurence and the actor Antoine Bertrand. “I am not involved in this project at all. Obviously I've heard about it and I'm convinced it's going to be a beautiful film. As far as I'm concerned, I only remain connected to Bach and Bottine. This project will always be close to my heart and I enjoy talking about it.”
