The actor Christian Oliver, known for his roles in “Speed Racer” and “The Good German”, and his two young daughters died this Thursday, January 4, in a plane crash in the Caribbean.
The 51-year-old actor and his daughters Madita (12) and Annik (10) were on board a small plane when it crashed into the sea around midday (local time), the Royal Police of St. Vincent and the Grenadines reported. Grenadines.

Actor Christian Oliver and his daughters die after an accident
According to authorities, the single-engine plane took off yesterday afternoon from JF Mitchell Airport in Bequia, a small island and part of the Caribbean nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Deadline reports.
The plane was en route to nearby Santa Lucia; But “shortly after takeoff, it ran into difficulties and crashed toward the sea,” police said in a statement.
“Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm took their boats to the scene of the accident to provide assistance,” they reported.
“The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard was informed and quickly moved to Paget Farm in Bequia to lead the rescue efforts,” they added.
The bodies of three passengers, Christian Oliver and his daughters, as well as the plane's pilot and owner, identified as Robert Sachs, were recovered from the water.
All were later pronounced dead and taken to the Kingstown mortuary, Entertainment Weekly reported. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
According to local reports, the pilot radioed the control tower after takeoff that he was having problems and returned. That was the last communication from the ship.

Just a few days before his tragic death, Christian Oliver, whose real surname was Klepser, posted a panoramic snapshot of a beach on his Instagram account.
“Greetings from paradise! For community and love… here we come in 2024!,” he wrote in the caption.

So far, the little girls' mother, Jessica Klepser, has not commented on the loss she has just suffered.
Who was the actor Christian Oliver?
Christian Oliver was a German-born actor who moved to the US to pursue a career in Hollywood, EW reveals.
He had an extensive list of credits, including Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Alarm for Cobra 11 and English Estate.
He also worked with Tom Cruise in Valkyrie and the Wachowskis and with Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
