If I were to say what I know about both

“If I were to say what I know about both candidates,” the 2016 election would have to be overturned, Jeffrey Epstein reportedly said

According to the late financier's younger brother, Jeffrey Epstein had information about Donald Trump and the Clintons so inflammatory that it could have overturned the 2016 presidential election if made public.

“Here's a direct quote: 'If I said what I know about both candidates, they would have to overturn the election.' Jeffrey told me that in 2016,” Mark Epstein told the Post on Wednesday, recalling a conversation he had with his brother about the showdown between Trump and Hillary Clinton.

However, Mark refused to elaborate on the meaning of his brother's words, explaining that he never told him exactly what he knew about Mr. Trump and the Clintons.

Both candidates are known to have developed directly or indirectly in the environment of Jeffrey Epstein.

According to flight records, Mr. Trump traveled on Mr. Epstein's private jet between Palm Beach, Florida, and New York seven times in the 1990s, accompanied at least twice by members of his family.

Hillary is not known to have been personally associated with Mr. Epstein, but her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was a friend of Mr. Epstein's at least since 1993, during his first term in the White House.

Mr. Clinton and Mr. Epstein visited each other several times over the years, with the latter visiting the White House at least 17 times.

A compromising journey

The ex-president also traveled around the world aboard Jeffrey Epstein's jet, visiting Europe, Asia and Africa in 2002 and 2003.

Mark said it was his brother who took Clinton on a charity trip to Africa that first got him into trouble.

“When Jeff took Clinton and, I think, Chris Tucker and others to Africa, my brother made a mistake because before that he was under the radar; Nobody looked at him,” he explained.

“But when he took Clinton on a plane, people wondered who this guy was that took Clinton on a plane,” he added.
