The Marvel star was recently announced as the lead actress in Todd Solondz's Love Child – with production starting in just a few months.

The film will feature a star-studded cast including Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Penélope Cruz and Édgar Ramírez.

The upcoming feature film tells the story of Junior, 11, a delusional aspiring Broadway star with an inappropriate obsession with his mother (played by Elizabeth), and details the dysfunctional mother-son relationship in a series of twists and turns.

The “Avengers: Endgame” favorite is happily married to husband and musician Robbie Arnett as the couple met through a mutual friend while vacationing in Mexico and first connected in February 2017.

When discussing her relationship with the Milo Green star, 30, Elizabeth told The Jess Cagle Show in 2022 that they secretly eloped before COVID and later got married.

Despite her long-running role as the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she admitted earlier this year that she wouldn't mind being fired from the job.

“I think it's been almost 10 years since I played her.” And I loved it. And I think the reason why I don't call [Marvel President] “Kevin Feige has ideas every day because I'm really proud of what we've done,” she said during Variety's “Actors on Actors” series with Meghann Fahy.

“I think Wanda Vision was a really surprising opportunity. “If someone told me I was going to be fired from Marvel movies, I would be proud of what we did,” she added.

But while this “version” of Wanda has seemingly been destroyed, exploration of the “multiverse” opens up the possibility of different versions of Wanda emerging.

However, she is expected to reprise her role as Wanda one final time for the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos.

This spring, Elizabeth starred in Max's limited series Love and Death, about the gruesome 1980 murder of Betty Gore by Candy Montgomery.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron star sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about the role and why she decided to take it on.

“Candy was a character I felt like I'd never played before.” And then [there was] the writing. “There was something strange and absurd about it,” she said.

“It was a world I wanted to play around in and a woman I wanted to understand,” she added.
