The Book Of Clarence is an upcoming biblical comedy written and directed by Jeymes Samuel – who also goes by the stage name The Bullitts.
Samuel was also one of the project's producers alongside rappers Jay-Z, James Lassiter and Tendo Nagenda.
The film's cast includes LaKeith Stanfield, James McAvoy, Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Teyana Taylor and Benedict Cumberbatch.
The premise is: “In search of a better life, Clarence becomes fascinated by the power of the aspiring messiah and soon risks everything to carve his way to a divine existence,” an IMDB synopsis reads.
“The Book Of Clarence” had its world premiere during the 67th BFI London Film Festival in October 2023 and is scheduled to be released in cinemas later this month on January 12th.
