Australian guitarist Plini has released his latest song. “Out of the Void” was composed and recorded in collaboration with Kiko Loureiro. It is the Brazilian's first new material since his departure from Megadeth, which was confirmed at the end of last year.
The drums were handled by Bruno Valverde (Angra, Whom Gods Destroy), and Adam Bentley did the mixing and mastering. Neural DSP, a company specializing in highquality sound, is responsible for the promotion.

About Pliny
Currently 31 years old, Plini RoesslerHolgate began her career releasing music under the pseudonym Halcyon. He later started using his own name. To date, he has recorded two fulllength albums “Handmade Cities” (2016) and “Impulse Voices” (2020) as well as a number of singles, EPs and participations in compilations.
The debut was praised by Steve Vai, who described it as “one of the best instrumental guitar albums I've ever heard, with a deep melodic, rhythmic and harmonic vision of the future.”
The future of Kiko Loureiro
In December last year, Kiko Loureiro gave two shows in São Paulo, at the SESC Avenida Paulista you can read the review of one of them here. Further plans to continue his career are not known for the time being.
His most recent solo album was “Open Source,” released in 2020. The album featured another former Megadeth guitarist, Marty Friedman, who was part of the band's most successful lineup.
