Dino Cazares, guitarist and frontman of American metal band Fear Factory, says there will never be an official biography about the band because it would “hurt too many people.”
A Fear Factory fan recently shared on X his desire to see a Fear Factory biography published one day. He wrote: “We need a Fear Factory book. Ozzy's biography, Al Jourgenson's biography, and Dave Mustaine's biography were all fascinating. It is difficult to find an author who can make such a book so captivating. I read a lot of books and even more biographies about rock.”
Cazares acknowledged the fan's message and responded, “That will never happen because it would harm too many people and I would definitely risk legal action even if most of the facts were known to the public.”
Last November, Fear Factory completed a major European tour, accompanied by new singer Milo Silvestro, who took over from Burton C. Bell.
In addition, the group continues to work on their new album, eight tracks of which have already been recorded.
Fear Factory's latest album, Aggression Continuum, was released in June 2021 via Nuclear Blast.
Contribution from Dino Cazares:
It will never happen because it will hurt a lot of people, and I could certainly imagine possible lawsuits, even if most of it is public knowledge. https://t.co/D2WlEgRs82
