Universitario takes the step and signs former Alianza and Cristal players: "How well does the cream look on you?"

Universitario continues to strengthen itself to achieve the double championship of the Women's League 2024 in the year of its centenary. After the continuity of numbers such as Stephanie Lacoste and Luz Campoverde, The Lionesses surprised by announcing the signing of two former football players from Alianza Lima and the goalscorer from Sporting Cristal.

Which Alianza Lima players have signed for Universitario?

Through their social networks, the Merengue team announced the discontinuation of the Midfielder Sandra Arévalo and defender Yoselin Miranda, who were part of the intimate cast's last double championship.

“How well the cream looks on you! Sandra Arévalo is the new addition of the only great in Peru,” was the message they dedicated to Arévalo.

In Miranda's case, she was the second newcomer to the team led by Colombian John Tierradentro.

“'Eyes' is about cream. Yoselin Miranda Pun comes to Universitario to face our anniversary season. The only great one welcomes you!” wrote the students.

Universitario signs Alondra Vílchez

After announcing the former Alianza Lima players, Universitario announced this Alondra Vilchez “Goal scorer for Sporting Cristal in 2023” will be their new striker.

Female university reinforcement

So far, Universitario has been strengthened for the Women's League with Yoselin Miranda (29 years old), Sandra Arévalo (25 years old) and Alondra Vílchez (26 years old).

The renewal of the championship title was secured “Fefa” Lacoste, Luz Campoverde, Silvana Alfaro, Cindy Novoa, Xioczana Canales, Fabiola Herrera, Annie del Carpio and Nahomi Martinez.
