Apparently, 2024 has everything to be one of the best years for international shows in the country, with attractions to suit every taste. In addition to the already established names (read our guide), the list tends to get even longer and includes names from the very first team.
According to José Norberto Flesch, the arrival of Beyoncé, Madonna, AC/DC, Metallica and the English eighties Tears For Fears and Depeche Mode are already certain and official announcements should not be long in coming. The journalist did not say whether they are traveling for solo tours, festivals or a mix of both. All of these attractions were in the country at different intervals and with different frequencies. Bey, who made a surprise appearance at a party for fans and guests in Salvador late last year, last sang in Brazil in 2013. Madonna hasn't been here since 2012 and AC/DC hasn't taken a stage in Brazil for almost a decade and a half.
Metallica tends to come more often, always with a full house and guaranteed satisfied fans. They will return only two years after their last visit.
Tears For Fears have owed us a show since 2017 when they made a unique appearance at Rock in Rio, and Depeche Mode will be returning to Brazilian soil for only the third time, the others being in 1994 and 2018.
