Is Demir in Syria?
When Hakan realizes that his brother has died in an accident, he decides to intervene and save Fekeli's life. He pretends to lose control of his car, runs over Fekeli's car and convinces him to let him take him back to the villa. The next morning, the postman gives Zuleyha a package. Inside is Demir's ring and a note in which the man assures the family that he is fine and will return soon.
The stamp on the package that arrives in Zuleyha from Demir indicates that it was sent from Syria, so Fikret travels with Cetin to Laudicea, where he asks Sahap, an old friend, for help. Preparations for the customary circumcision ceremony of children from less wealthy families take place on the property. Hakan asks Zuleyha to contribute to the cost of the ceremony. Lutfiye makes herself available to help Saniye distribute the clothes to the children, but when they arrive at the barracks, the two women find Sermin there. Saniye Lutfiye angrily admits her doubts about Sermin's intentions. Meanwhile, Betul arranges for the Yaman company to use the services of Abdulkadir's workshop and tries in vain to raise Zuleyha's doubts about Ercan, who, as a trustworthy employee, could hinder their work.
No news from Demir
Sermin has decided to organize the circumcision ceremony, but Saniye disagrees and hits her with the van, breaking her leg. The event is organized by Lutfiye, who receives praise for his excellent work. Sermin, who is forced to rest, torments Betul, Fusun and Saniye. Betul asks Abdulkadir for advice because she wants to get rid of Ercan. Adulkadir advises her to seduce him and Betul takes action. Despite the searches, there is nothing new about Demir.
Sermin notices something strange
Fikret and Cetin are in Syria and ask Sahap, Fikret's friend, for help. During the circumcision ceremony, Gaffur and Rasit get drunk and Saniye punishes them. During her speech to the guests, Zuleyha thanks Hakan, who introduced himself to everyone as Mr. Mehmet, and invites him to speak. As Sermin notes, Demir is not even mentioned between speeches and acknowledgments.
Was Demir kidnapped?
Hakan, posing as Mehmet Kara, continues to endear himself to everyone in Cukurova. Zuleyha and Fikret's relationship is the focus of many rumors, to the point that Lutfiye begs Fekeli to find another house and move away from Villa Yaman. Meanwhile, Fikret and Cetin are still in Syria hoping to find Demir, but when Sahap reveals to them that the letter couldn't have come from there, the two are finally convinced that Demir has been kidnapped.
Fekeli learns the truth about Mehmet Kara
Fekeli discovers by pure chance that Mehmet Kara is not who he claims to be, and to confirm his suspicions, he threatens Abdulkadir and demands that he tell the truth. Fekeli is ready to expose the impostor, but the unexpected lurks.
Fekeli dies
There is no further news about Fekeli and Lutfiye feels something serious may have happened to him. Zuleyha attends the dinner of the newly founded Chamber of Exporters, where the mayor and Hakan are also present. Betul is not invited and Abdulkadir advises her to be more cunning if she wants to become Cukurova's new lady. Meanwhile, Gaffur and Rasit find Fekeli's body in his car and the news shocks everyone. At the hospital, Aykut Lutfiye confirms that Fekeli died of a heart attack. Meanwhile, Zuleyha goes to the prosecutor's office and learns that Fikret, who returned from Syria, proved that Demir was never in the country… but he was arrested for attacking the prosecutor. Eventually, Hakan convinces the prosecutor to release Fikret from prison, who, upon his release, learns the news of his uncle's death.
Fekeli is dead and all of Cukurova mourns him. However, both Lutfiye and Zuleyha have doubts about the circumstances in which Fekeli died. Zuelyha also confides in Lutfiye that, as everyone knew, Fekeli never went to Ankara. Fikret arrives at the Yaman villa, prepares for Fekeli's wake, and has a conversation with Zuleyha, during which it becomes clear that Demir did not seek refuge in Syria. When all the guests have left Villa Yaman, Hakan arrives. The man expresses his condolences to Zuleyha and during a conversation, Zuleyha shares with Hakan her doubts about Fekeli's death.
Fikret takes Hakan into a corner
Fikret becomes increasingly suspicious of Hakan and cannot accept the fact that he spends so much time with Zuleyha. Lutfiye orders him not to interfere in Zuleyha's affairs, but his nephew doesn't listen. While Hakan and Zuleyha are visiting the company's orange grove, Fikret catches up with them and corners Hakan. Annoyed, he looks like he's about to hit him, but Zuleyha intervenes and tearfully asks him not to cause her any more problems. Later, Fikret tries to apologize to Zuleyha, but their conversation leads to another argument.
A mysterious woman wants to see Demir
Sermin wants to make amends and in the meantime plans revenge on Saniye, who broke her leg when she was run over. A mysterious woman arrives at the estate who urgently asks to see Demir, without believing those who tell her that he has disappeared.
Fikret and Betul in bed together
The Fekeli family's coexistence in Villa Yaman fuels rumors about a possible relationship between Fikret and Zuley, also given Demir's continued absence. To silence the rumors, Luftiye wants to leave the villa, but Zuleyha, alone and depressed, asks her to stay. Hakan pleads guilty for his death at Fekeli's grave. Betul is invited by Fikret to monitor Hakan's behavior towards Zuleyha. Betul and Fikret have a night of love and she is already thinking about marrying Fikret, but is frozen by his distant attitude. There is discussion about the arrival at the villa of a certain Ayten, who asked for Demir without explanations. Wanting revenge on Saniye for voluntarily hitting her with his car, Sermin agrees with Fusun to seek revenge by trying to cheat on her. Saniye doesn't fall for it.
Fikret and Betul spent the night together. Fusun saw them giving each other lazy glances during the date and informed Sermin of the news. But Fikret isn't the only man interested in Betul. Ercan also let himself be seduced by the woman and now suggests that she spend a weekend with him in Ankara. Meanwhile, Gaffur and Rasit used all their savings to buy land and dream of becoming rich. However, they are victims of Sermin's fraud as the land is about to be expropriated by the state.
