This festival in Laval with fireworks this winter is completely free and magical – Narcity Québec

To fully enjoy your winter, you can attend the festival in Laval, Laval en Blanc, which takes place from January 26th to 28th, 2024 and all activities are free.

The event is taking place for the 17th time and this year you can once again live out your energy with a variety of colorful outdoor activities and end the evening by watching the fireworks.

What you need to know: Laval en blanc takes place Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Important instructions: The city of Laval confirmed that the event would still take place without snow at the time of writing. The head of public affairs, Philippe Déry, confided that the bumper cars will not be back for the 2024 edition, but will be replaced by the skating library, which is a disco rink with illuminated figures on the ice. You can access it on Friday and Saturday.

In case you didn't know: As in previous years, there will once again be the long-awaited fireworks display as well as acrobatic and ambulatory shows by various artists.

What's coming: Friday's program includes via ferrata, walks with colorful characters, obstacle courses, mini zip line on the chair, snowball fight, snow sculpture workshop, life-size foosball and a hockey arena. But that's not all, as you can also have fun in the ice skating library, watch a light percussion show or admire the fireworks.

Saturday begins at 10 a.m. with activities such as the sports caravan, percussion workshops as well as some from the previous day such as the ice library, via ferrata, life-size foosball and much more.

On the last day you can do all activities again from 10 a.m. What is new is that the group “Les petits tounes” offers musical performances on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
