CES 2024 begins next week and tech companies worldwide will showcase all of their upcoming tech products for this year and beyond. There's already a lot of news about the event, and the doors to the exhibition space haven't even opened yet. But no worry; We are here to stay informed.
Samsung introduces its first LaserSlim OLED television
If there's one thing we can predict for sure, it's that AI will be a big topic of conversation this year, as it seems like companies are trying to find a way to integrate AI into pretty much everything, from refrigerators to… to cars. Microsoft has announced that new Windows keyboards on some laptops and desktops will now ship with a “Copilot Key” to help users quickly access the AI on the device.
Another interesting AI trend is that TV manufacturers like Roku and LG are using built-in AI to automatically adjust picture settings like resolution and color tone to match the best content you're watching.
We're also expecting big news from Nvidia, as the graphics card maker has already announced a “special speech” for Monday, January 8th to talk about what we hope means “groundbreaking advances in gaming, creativity and AI performance with GeForce RTX.” new graphics cards.
Based on what we've seen, this year's Consumer Electronics Show is going to be special. Gizmodo's Consumer Tech team will be reporting live from the show floor next week and getting our hands on the coolest and weirdest products we can find.
