There you have it, Acer has made its announcements for CES 2024. And they have renewed their range of Swift laptops with Windows 11. Let's start with the Swift X 14. It's a relatively good racer.

Strong

As explained in the introduction, this notebook is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor (like Dell), available in versions 7 and 5 of the H series. They usually have a solid base for various uses.

The Swift X 14 makes no compromises when it comes to the display. You can choose between an OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 x 1880 pixels or a 2560 x 1600 pixel IPS screen, both with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Both have a diagonal of 14.5 inches.

Memory and storage are classic, with options up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage. And for those looking for the best in graphics, look no further than the Swift X 14 a dedicated graphics card (dGPU) Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, with lower-level options including RTX 4060, 4050 and 3050.

What… too bad. Note that the webcam is only in 1080p, while that of the following two laptops is in 1440p with a system to disable it manually.

Swift Go 14 and 16: Performance at a lower price

For those looking for a cheaper alternative, the Swift Go 14 and 16 offer performance, but at a cheaper price.

These more accessible models come with 120 Hz OLED screens (but also 60 Hz IPS LCD, touch and non-touch), Core Ultra H or U series chips (up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H or Intel Core Ultra 7 155U) and available configurations with up to 32GB RAM and 2TB storage. The main difference is the graphics cards that only have the integrated GPU, namely the Intel Arc.

The Swift X is expected in February while the Swift Go 14 and 16 will launch in February and March respectively.

And…we forgot. Yes, they are equipped with the special copilot button.
