Travis Kelce's streak of receiving more than 1,000 yards in a season ends today after he was cut by the Kansas City Chiefs.

In exclusive photos for , Kelce was seen leaving the team hotel in Los Angeles before the Chiefs took on the Los Angeles Chargers.

But they'll be without Kelce and many of their other starters today because the game is essentially pointless.

Kansas City has already secured a playoff spot and the AFC West crown, while the Chargers have already been eliminated from playoff contention.

That means many of the Chiefs' starters – including quarterback Patrick Mahomes – will have to sit out the final game of the season due to fears of injury.

But it also marks the end of Kelce's streak of consecutive seasons of over a thousand yards.

His regular season ended with 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns.

The last time the 34-year-old Kelce rushed for fewer than 1,000 yards was his second year in the league, in 2015.

That's seven consecutive years with 1,000-plus yard seasons – the most by any tight end in league history.

This is a developing story. CONTINUE.
