Dado fears Wanessa won't go vegan on BBB 24: “Industry exploits animals”

“There is a lot of fear here, the show hasn't even started yet, I can't sleep properly anymore,” confesses Dado Dolabella, 43, about the participation of Wanessa Camargo, 41, in BBB 24, which premieres this Monday, the 8th .

In an exclusive conversation with Taste goodThe actor, who adopted a vegan diet more than eight years ago and convinced his girlfriend to follow the same lifestyle, admits that he fears that his lover will not be able to stick to her diet during the time of the Globo reality show .

In a program, in a house sponsored by the entire animal exploitation industry, I am afraid of what could happen to her.

BBB 24's sponsors directly related to the food industry include Seara, McDonald's, iFood, Delícia and Nestlé. In previous years, the production offered “vegan meat” with both VIP and Xepa purchases. Jade Picon from BBB 22 and Bruna Griphao from the 2023 edition were participants who followed a vegan diet.

What concerns Dado Dolabella are the situations that arise within the program. “She will be in an extreme pressure situation and it seems like some Xepa tests, some difficult things that the participants are going through, are leaving them practically without food. I think she will go through difficulties in these moments,” he says.

Dado hopes that Maycon Cosmer from Santa Catarina of the Pipoca group will make progress in the game to help Wanessa prepare her vegan diet since she cannot cook. The participant is a cook at a public school and describes herself as a “snack aunt.”

“I am confident that everything will be fine. Another difficulty will be that if the cook leaves the house early, she will have to hope that the cook will stay with her if she stays too.”

When he decided to adopt veganism as a lifestyle, Dado Dolabella noted that he noticed a change in mood within the first week.

“My body has already thanked me. I was 35 years old and tired, so it was very easy for me because day by day I felt better and rejuvenated.”

“All my life I have believed that we need to eat protein that comes from animals. When I found out that there are all the essential amino acids, that there is everything in the plant kingdom, protein, all the nutrients, and that it's a big lie “It was a liberation for me,” he adds.

When he noticed this improvement in quality of life, he said that everything had become easier. “For those starting out on the vegan diet, it’s also easy to eat right. Who doesn't want to be better? “Who doesn’t want to wake up the next day feeling better than yesterday?” he concludes.

Dado and Wanessa first dated for four years in the 2000s. In 2022, after the end of her 17year marriage to Marcos Buaiz, ​​the singer resumed the relationship with her childhood sweetheart and since then the couple has lived this reunion intensely.
