This week Paris, 42, spoke about the devastating moment she learned her sex tape with her ex Rick Salomon had been leaked to the press while she was visiting Australia to attend the Melbourne Cup with sister Nicky.
Speaking to the Call Her Daddy podcast, the American socialite described the ordeal as “one of the most painful experiences of her life”.
“I was with my sister Nicky and we were in Australia and I got a call from someone on my team. And they told me that one of the entertainment shows had received a 30-second clip,” she said of the adult footage.

Paris initially didn't believe the caller, saying she “didn't even remember” making the sex tape.
However, her world came crashing down when she was sent a clip of the explicit footage to confirm it was real.
“I was hysterical and crying. I did not know, what I should do. “I didn't even want to fly home to LA because I knew that once I landed there would be so many paparazzi and reporters waiting for me,” the mother of two recalls.
“I kept changing my flight and staying with my sister in Australia, I didn't know what else to do,” she said.
While in Australia, Paris crossed paths with Australian Idol contestant Rob Mills at an afterparty for the film The Matrix Reloaded at the Sydney Opera House.

Meanwhile, the Paris sex tape was leaked online in 2004 and later released on DVD by Salomon (pictured).
“My relationship with Paris was hardly that great.” “We spent the night together and fooled around afterwards,” he wrote.
The couple continued their flirtation at the Melbourne Cup and spent the rest of their two-week trip to Australia together before Paris flew back to LA to promote her new reality show The Simple Life.
