The first half hour was split into two duels, with four contestants battling relentlessly in hopes of impressing the judges Stefano Faita And Martin Picard, and leave with the coveted white apron that will allow you to officially enter the competition. Only 16 chefs will have their place in the cohort.
Of course, we advise you not to read on if you haven't seen the first episode, otherwise there is a risk that you will be told what happens there.
The episode began with a tartar confrontation between Mélanie and Yvon, whose comical confidence was quickly shaken when he risked burning his croutons. Mélanie worked more discreetly at his side and seemed more in control… until she, too, charred her croutons.

After the tasting, it was ultimately the 61-year-old man's dish that Stefano and Martin preferred most. We already have a feeling that Yvon's sense of humor could add color to MasterChef Quebec!
Then the first episode ended with Fadwa and Stéphane preparing a filet mignon, which kept viewers in suspense until the end and ended in an irretrievable mistake by one of the two chefs.
In fact, the challenge was doubly painful for Fadwa as her parmesan unfortunately burned in the oven. Despite everything, she managed to finish on time and presented her dish to the judges… but suddenly, much to the chef's horror, Martin Picard found a rope in his piece of meat.
This is undoubtedly a misstep that could prove very costly for him, but what about Stéphane's court? Will he fight for a place in the adventure or will he manage to make a similar mistake as his opponent?
To find out, you'll have to tune in for the second episode tomorrow, Tuesday.
