Georgia Kousoulou has opened up about her struggle to conceive a second child in the new series of her hit ITVBe reality show.
The former TOWIE star, 32, and her husband Tommy Mallet, 31, launched the fifth series of their show Georgia and Tommy: Baby Steps this week and the opening episode focuses on the aftermath of her miscarriage.
The couple had a miscarriage in April 2023 and as the new series starts in September, they are telling their fans about their “tough few months”.
“Since we lost the baby in April, I've been on my period,” Georgia explained on the show. “I have good days and bad days, which I think is completely normal.”
“There will still be things that trigger me. “In the last week I feel like I’m getting better, but it took a long time.”

“I would love to be pregnant now, I thought I would have been by now, but you can only wish for so much. “We can only hope and pray that it happens, but unfortunately I can't control my body.”
In a teaser for next week's episode, Georgia is seen in tears as she asks a friend, “Why am I not pregnant yet?”
Tommy explained how the couple and their two-year-old son Brody escaped to Mallorca for three months in the summer following the miscarriage.
“Georgia has had a tough few months, but we are coming out the other end,” he explained on the show.
“My main priority over the last three months has been Georgia and making sure she gets out of this state she was in. It was hard and we didn’t talk about it.”
Tommy revealed he has turned to crystals for comfort over the past year, telling the camera: “When you're going through trauma, especially at the lowest point, you find things that comfort you, for me it's the spiritual side.”
“I just want to make sure Georgia gets what she wants. I’ve been told enough in the last few years, but the pressure is very, very great.”
Later in the episode, Georgia bursts into tears as she and Tommy pick Brody up for his first day of kindergarten.
“It's very hard to let go of the baby stage because you realize I'm not coping with it very well and I'm not letting go,” she said.

Georgia has spoken openly about her difficulties with Brody starting kindergarten, saying: “It's very hard to let go of the baby stage as you can tell I'm not coping with it particularly well.”
“I still call him the baby.” I'm lost, I was a mother and that was my goal all along. I thought I would have to deal with a newborn baby.'
“That was the plan when I put him in daycare. But now I'm just me. Actually, it's really terrible, but I can't be selfish and keep him at home with me forever.'
Georgia and Tommy tied the knot in a secret, intimate ceremony in London on December 1, 2023, but will host a second, more lavish celebration in the sunshine with their larger friends and family this summer.
The couple had previously canceled their wedding in May 2023 because the miscarriage had already occurred the previous month.

Tommy said at the time: “The wedding will be bigger than ever next year. “We postponed planning the wedding after losing the baby.
“We were supposed to fly to Mallorca to plan the wedding and have some time for ourselves, but we didn't go because we discovered the miscarriage.”
“But we haven’t canceled anything. We are strong, we have a big day to plan and Georgia needs it too.
“I want her to have the same middle name and she deserves a really good day now and next year we’ll make that happen.”
