It's been 30 years since the Spice Girls were born. A birthday to celebrate, according to fans of the famous group from the 1990s and 2000s… and according to the British postal service Royal Mail. The service has announced that it will offer for sale a unique collection of around fifteen collector's stamps in honor of the pop group's five stars. A great first for a women's group – the Beatles, Queen, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden and Rolling Stone already had the right to their collection.

Mel B remembers her beginnings

Mel B, aka Scary Spice, was invited to Jimmy Fallon's set for the group's 30th anniversary and was also happy about the release of this stamp collection: “I'll put them away forever. With all my Spice Girl outfits that no one is allowed to touch,” she joked.

It was also an opportunity for her to look back on the founding of this group with so few resources: “We were a “homegrown” group. We were our own stylists, our own composers, our own choreographers. “We tried together to convince the producers to help us by promising them that we would 'pay them back if we were rich', which we never did…” she added with a smile on her face.

This time it's even Victoria [Beckham] Who suggested we do something? “It's in the works, everything will be announced very soon,” Mel B told Sky News in July 2023. The group's 30th anniversary could be the perfect opportunity for one last onstage reunion…
