It happened on Avenida Francisco de Orellana, where the suspected criminal got out of a red car a few minutes before 11 p.m. and stood next to a business premises where he tried to plant the explosives.
The young man lights what looks like dynamite, but it explodes in his hands as his friend runs away in the red car.
The entire event was captured on a surveillance camera, which recorded the horrific death of the suspected criminal. According to local media outlet El Telégrafo, the explosive used was dynamite intended for mining, which would explain its detonation power.
On the other hand, it is known that the owner of the property had previously received blackmail threats demanding payment of quotas so that he could work in peace. According to El Universal, the deceased criminal was a minor under 17 years old, but identifying the body is difficult due to the condition in which the body was left.
