Dua Lipa's surreal dress was a custom piece designed specifically for the occasion by Schiaparelli's creative director Daniel Roseberry. It consisted of a long black velvet corset laced with blinders at the back and a satin faille balloon skirt. On the bustier, a skeleton trompe l'oeil in diamond and Schiaparelli gold embodies the spirit of the house. The piece is also inspired by the dress that Elsa Schiaparelli created in 1938 with none other than the painter Salvador Dali.
