Through a few short publications on his Instagram account, the investigating judge from Masked singers informed his many fans that he was abruptly ending his comedy tour three months before it was scheduled to end.
After deciding to follow the advice of health experts, Breton canceled the remainder of his tour, which marks his first-ever solo show, titled To the peak and the shovelwith the aim of prioritizing your health and regaining your energy.
Discover all the details of his announcement below:
“I started building my first solo exhibition in 2019 called Au pic pis à pelle.
I put absolutely everything into myself on this show. What pride to release it to the public in January 2020. The course of this project was quickly interrupted by the pandemic.
Despite the cancellations, the postponements of the shows and the performances in front of a limited audience to respect health standards – and so on – I continued to believe in my show and hope to experience a “normal” tour.
Despite the advice from those around me about the continuity of the show after the pandemic, which was not easy, I persisted in always adding a few show dates, a few more months to extend the tour despite the ups and downs since 2020.
It gave me so much joy to introduce you to Au pic pis à pelle, and it gave me so much joy to hear you laugh.
But now, for some time now, the symptoms of fatigue have been increasing. My determination pushed me to ignore these signals for as long as possible, all with the sole goal of doing my best.
I sincerely hoped that I would have the energy needed to cope with the symptoms and complete this self-imposed tour.
But now I can't pretend anymore.
Sometimes in life you have to know how to get away.
With a lump in my throat, I suddenly have to end this tour on the advice of the health experts.
A few months of rest is necessary so that I can regain my full energy.
If there is any disappointment in not being able to complete the last three months of my tour, then know that there is also a lot of pride.
At the peak and at the scoop there are 556 displays of pure happiness that taught me a lot about myself.
Much love for the awkward ones.
Be kind, gentle and kind to yourself.
Choosing to choose for yourself will always be the best decision.”
Despite his audience's disappointment, the comedian made the right decision by listening to his own needs, and the message that comes from this announcement is deeply inspiring.
We send him an abundance of energy and kindness.
