Canadian dance champion Nikolaj Sorensen and his partner Laurence Fournier-Beaudry are being investigated by the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner of Canada (OCIS) over allegations of sexual assault and will withdraw from the state championships currently being held in Calgary until Sunday.
Last week, USA Today announced that a former American skater, now a coach for the American program, had filed a complaint with the BCIS regarding events that occurred on April 21, 2012 in Hartford, Connecticut. Nikolaj Sorensen and Laurence Fournier-Beaudry finished 5th in the Grand Prix final in Beijing last December.
