'Maxxxine' background actress Mia Goth sued for on-set injury

Mia Goth was sued by a background actor who accused her of intentionally kicking him in the head during a scene for Maxxxine.

Director Ti West and A24 were also named in the lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court over the alleged injury the actor suffered while filming the final installment of the horror trilogy that also includes X and Pearl .

In the scene, Hunter was asked to lie down in the dirt and play dead.

“Goth should run past the plaintiff on the ground; and in some cases, you step over him, look down at him and keep running,” the complaint states.

Instead, Goth intentionally kicked Hunter in the head with her boot. When he told the second assistant director that he had a headache and a stiff neck, he was not offered medical attention because West had ordered filming to continue, the lawsuit says.

The next day, Hunter claimed he was dropped from the production for the remaining two days of filming without explanation. He says he suffered a concussion from the alleged incident.

The lawsuit alleges charges against Goth and wrongful termination against A24 and West. Hunter is seeking at least $250,000 plus punitive damages.
