The presenter, journalist and music critic Adriano Falabella died in the early hours of Saturday (13) at the age of 70. He led the “AltoFalante” program on Rede Minas for 25 years, where he talked about music, mainly rock, and pop culture.
Several artists and cultural figures mourned the death of Adriano, who was known as the “encyclopedia of rock” due to his extensive knowledge of the genre. Jota Quest's Rogério Flausino, Pato Fu's Fernanda Takai and Saulo Laranjeira were some of those who commented on Rede Minas' post on Instagram. In the publication, the broadcaster published the following text:
“Empresa Mineira de Comunicação and Rede Minas express their condolences to the relatives and friends of our beloved presenter Adriano Falabella, who passed away in Belo Horizonte in the early hours of this Saturday (13) at the age of 70.
The government of Minas Gerais also mourned Falabella's death in an official condolence message:
“The government of Minas expresses its solidarity with the relatives and friends of the presenter Adriano Falabella, who died in Belo Horizonte in the early hours of this Saturday (1/13) at the age of 70. For decades, Adriano Falabella hosted the show AltoFalante, about Rede Minas. Music critic specializing in rock, in the “Enciclopédia do Rock” section he brought with great charisma stories about artists and notable albums of the music genre. Falabella will always be remembered by all rock lovers in Minas Gerais.

Adriano Falabella has been there since December 28th. in the hospital. The cause of death was septic shock due to infection.
