Charles Lafortune returns to duty on the 10the Season of The voice. The host of the popular TVA music competition is the only one to appear on screen since this adventure began.
He was seen accompanying the participants and their families. We saw him experience great emotions with them. Joys and disappointments alike.

That's why we asked him to make a list of the 10 blind auditions that had the biggest impact on him, a difficult task because Charles Lafortune was spoiled for choice among all the quality performances that allowed dozens of artists to break through to create ice cream in La Voix.
Please note that no or full video was available for the blind auditions of Josiane Comeau, Raphaëlle Roy and Sophie Grenier. We have therefore replaced them with other suggestions.
(1) Season 1 – Étienne Cousineau on Ebben ne andro lontana (The Wally)

“An unforgettable blind audition. Étienne Cousineau has a voice impairment and can therefore sing like a woman. He sang Ebben ne andro lontana and Ariane Moffatt turned around. It was so evident that while blind, the trainers have no idea who is singing behind them. It was perfect to highlight the concept of The Voice. He made it to the semifinals and then was in the musical Chicago.”
(2) Season 1 – Charlotte Cardin continued You know I'm not good by Amy Winehouse

“Of course Charlotte Cardin is on my list with her cover of Amy Winehouse's You Know I'm no Good. She already had that special stamp. She was 19 years old and we saw her full potential. I remember his sister crying! Charlotte was a finalist for Marie-Mai’s team and, as we know, became a big star.”
(3) Season 2 – Rémi Chassé continues Lots of love by Led Zeppelin

“Rémi Chassé's performance at the castings was spectacular. He did Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love – we had big problems with the rights – and you have to see Isabelle Boulay's face when he starts singing. It makes for an extraordinary moment. All the trainers turned around. Rémi made it to the final by discovering a different side of himself, especially by singing in French afterward.”
(4) Season 4 – Travis Cormier on Keep dreaming by Aerosmith

“It is an audition that is considered one of the best in the history of La Voix. It was so strong! Things get really high and Travis does his best with a rendition of Steven Tyler. Travis was a finalist for Éric Lapointe.”

(5) Season 5 – Ludovick Bourgeois continues You'll never know from the group Les BB

“Seeing him do a tune about his father Patrick from BB and seeing the reaction of the coaches…His father was very sick and he had time to see Ludovick win in season five.” Beyond her blind audition was hers “The journey was unforgettable and very touching.”
(6) Season 5 – Louis-Paul Gauvreau continued Stab wound by Necrophagist

“Louis-Paul Gauvreau and Isabelle Boulay, the most unlikely duo on La Voix. He made it to the semifinals. It's great death metal and it shows that we're open to La Voix. But we analyzed the lyrics to make sure the message of the song was correct. We forget that Bruno Pelletier is essentially a metal singer.”
(7) Season 7 – Rick Pagano on she will be Loved by Maroon 5

“Rick Pagano, it was a fun audition with the song She Will be Loved by Maroon 5. He wanted to go with Éric Lapointe, but Marc Dupré blocked him and Éric couldn't turn around. I was with his friends and they booed Marc! Ultimately, Marc was a great trainer for Rick and included him in his shows. I remember during the duels his grandmother came on stage to kiss him!”
(8) Season 8 – Josiane Comeau continues If by Zaz

“It's a very interesting story. Jacques accompanied his daughter to the auditions and he was taken after trying his luck at the last minute. He made it to the semi-finals with Eric Lapointe's team. The following year Josiane returns, is selected and wins. It really is a fairy tale. Coeur de Pirate really helped, it made it more modern.”
(9) Season 7 – Rafaëlle Roy continues And I still love you by Celine Dion

“Rafaëlle has an incredible voice. I want her to do well, to have good opportunities and to really succeed. We have seen her many times on social media but her talent must make her shine. She had two children with a competitor at La Voix, Joffrey Charles, so the show is having children! With Christian Marc Gendron she sang the title song for the series Lac-Noir 1.”
(10) Season 9 – Sophie Grenier on The bird by René Simard

“Sophie Grenier attracted attention by singing a completely different version of L'oiseau by René Simard. The man who became his coach, Mario Pelchat, sang this piece with his sister Johanne, who died very young. Sophie practically won La Voix in her blind audition. Everyone was moved.”
