Pro-Palestinian protesters chant “f–k Joe Biden” and damage fence outside White House – New York Post

A crowd of pro-Palestinian supporters chanted “fk Joe Biden” slogans as they nearly tore down a reinforced fence outside the White House during a protest Saturday evening.

As a precautionary measure, non-essential personnel were evacuated from the area as the aggressive demonstration grew, the Secret Service confirmed.

The video shows the crowd shaking the fence so violently that part of it partially came loose, while a horde of Secret Service police pushed back to prevent rally participants from entering the site.

Some protesters threw water bottles and the sticks broken from their Palestinian flags at officers, while others tried to climb over the fence.

“F–k Joe Biden!” rally participants screamed.

“Break it! You support the murder of children!”

The anti-scale fence suffered some “temporary damage,” but the actual White House fence and adjacent buildings were unaffected, a Secret Service spokesman told The Post.

“The issues were immediately addressed on-site by U.S. Secret Service support teams,” said Lt. Paul Mayhair.

“As a precautionary measure, some members of the media and staff have been temporarily relocated near Pennsylvania Avenue while the issue is addressed.”

There were no arrests.

The Secret Service had erected the fence hours earlier in anticipation of the demonstration outside the White House, which was the planned culmination of a march through Washington DC calling for an end to Israeli military action in Gaza.

Thousands of protesters attended the rally, some carrying signs reading “No votes for Genocide Joe,” “Biden has blood on his hands,” and “Let Gaza live.”

Biden has been a supporter of Israel and approved an “emergency sale” that sent nearly 14,000 rounds of tank ammunition worth $106 million to the Jewish state last month.

The rally focused primarily on the significant death toll in Gaza that has accumulated in the 100 days since Israel retaliated for Hamas' surprise attack on its civilian population on October 7.

More than 23,800 people in Gaza – nearly two-thirds of them women and children – have been killed in Hamas-controlled territory during Israel's counterattack campaign, according to the Health Ministry.

Israel declared war in response to Hamas's unprecedented cross-border attack on October 7, in which the Islamist militant group killed around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and took 250 others hostage

An estimated 132 hostages are still being held in Gaza.
