It is a very close question and answer that was broadcast on Saturday January 13th on “Che will be” on Rai3 between the presenter Serena Bortone and the matrimonial lawyer Annamaria Bernardini De Pace. During the broadcast he talks about the events of Acca Larenzia and the controversies that followed. However, Bernardini De Pace was impatient: “Enough talk about fascists and anti-fascists.” We live in a democracy: why do we have to continue to raise this issue? There were a thousand people out of 60 million.” At this point, Bortone's response comes and goes viral on social media: “We are in a democracy precisely because fascism has been defeated.” I wouldn't talk about it if there were a thousand people, who raise their arms, unfortunately… That's how it works.” Bernardini De Pace then replies, completely contradicting the moderator: “There are also murderers.” If they glorify fascism, they will also be condemned. If someone pretends to be a murderer he will not be convicted, while someone who pretends to be a fascist even though the fascist is not there cannot be convicted. Everyone is free to condemn, I am amazed at you, who are so free.” The discussion does not stop and the moderator replies: “I am free precisely because I am an anti-fascist, not to mention that we actually condemn the murderers.” Bernardini De Pace does not give in and concludes: “I am against nothing.” Finally, it is Bortone's turn to try to end the whole thing with a comment that has received great acclaim on social media found: “Well, I'm proud to be an anti-fascist: I've been questioned and that's why I'm going to speak up.”
