In a statement, the Israeli army said that during a patrol “in the Har Dov sector,” soldiers “discovered a terrorist cell” that had entered Israeli territory from Lebanon and opened fire on them.
In response, Israeli soldiers killed “four terrorists,” he said, adding that one of his soldiers was injured.
Har Dov is the Israeli name for the farms of Shebaa, a disputed border area.
The Israeli army also stated that the shots from Lebanese territory were aimed at locations near the border.
Another army statement said an antitank missile hit the Israeli village of Kfar Yuval, injuring several people.

The army statement also said that the Israeli Air Force bombed “Hezbollah positions” in Lebanon today and warned that it “will continue to defend its borders from any threat.”
