Actor and model Alec Musser has died at the age of 50. The death of the star of the soap opera “All My Children”, the series “Desperate Housewives” and the hit comedy “Grown Ups” (2010) became public through a post by his fiancée Paige Press on Instagram. The incident was complained about by fans and professional colleagues, such as actor Adam Sandler.
“Rest in peace, love of my life,” Paige Press wrote, without revealing the cause of death. “I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken. Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy. You were the best groom I could ask for.”
Musser revived the character Del Henry on All My Children, a reallife US television institution that has aired since the 1970s, between 2005 and 2007. He also appeared in the series Rita Rocks and the longrunning TV series on “Way to the Altar” (2009).
She took part in the awardwinning series “Desperate Housewives” in 2011.
The actor's last post on Instagram was four days ago and included a photo of him surfing on a Mexican beach in the state of Baja California. In the caption, he wrote, “Silhouette at dusk during Baja winter.”
Actor Adam Sandler wrote an Instagram post mourning Musser's death. He shared an excerpt from his colleague's participation in “Gente Grande”.
Adam Sandler wrote in the caption: “I loved this guy. I can't believe he's gone. Such a wonderful and funny guy. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A really great person with a wonderful heart.”
“Rest in peace Alec,” one person wrote in the comments section of Musser’s latest Instagram post. “Pray for your family,” another shared.
“So what? What happened?” asked a third.
“We’ll miss you,” someone else said.
