Former Montreal Canadiens Terry Ryan will remember his 47th birthday for a long timee anniversary when he signed a contract with the Newfoundland Growlers in the ECHL.

“I have a 13-year-old daughter who hasn’t seen me play yet,” admitted Ryan, whose comments were posted on radio station VOCM’s website on Sunday. It’s the most overwhelming thing…it’s the first thing I think of.”
