It's Jake Allen's turn

The rotation continues in front of the Canadian net.

On Monday, Jake Allen will be the starting goaltender when the Colorado Avalanche visit Montreal.

Head coach Martin St-Louis announced this after Sunday's training. Watch his press conference today in the video above.

In his last start on January 4, Allen allowed five goals on 37 shots in a 6-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

Since then, CH has played four games. Samuel Montembeault was an automatic three-time starter, while Cayden Primeau started against the Flyers on Wednesday in Philadelphia.

Against the Avalanche, the Habs will look to stop their losing streak at three. On Saturday, he lost 2-1 in overtime to the Edmonton Oilers.

Drouin is fine

At the same time, the Avalanche overcame a three-goal deficit and won 5-3 against the Maple Leafs in Toronto.

Jonathan Drouin heralded his team's comeback. At the start of the second period, the former CH reduced the deficit to 3-1 thanks to a perfect shot.

The Quebecer then added to their tally on Nathan MacKinnon's goal, giving the visitors the lead for the first time in the game.

With the Winnipeg Jets' loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, combined with this win against the Leafs, the Avalanche are just a small point behind the Manitoba team at the top of the Central Section.

For their part, the Montrealers are in sixth place in the Metropolitan Section with 41 points (17-18-7).
