Xiaomi offers a new smartwatch. This is not a completely new model, but a special edition of the Xiaomi Watch S3 with which the company celebrates the announcement or release of its first electric car. The Xiaomi Watch S3 SU7 differs in design from the previous smartwatch models.
The olive green version comes with a bezel of the same color and a silicone strap. The ceramic bezel offers good protection against scratches that can occur during daily use. Like other Xiaomi Watch S3 models, the watch is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that has a pixel density of 326 PPI. The maximum brightness is 600 cd/m².
The other features also meet high standards. The Xiaomi Watch S3 SU7 is equipped with an independent GNSS module and a cellular modem, further reducing the dependence on a paired smartphone. Xiaomi uses HyperOS, an in-house development, as the operating system. Heart rate and activity levels can be recorded, as can stress levels. It is also possible to monitor sleep quality and duration.
The Xiaomi Watch 3S SU7 was launched in China for the equivalent of around $155. It is unlikely that this special edition will appear in other markets.
