“You can only take the test once a year with your email address, and I've never been on the show. I look at it every night and notice how many responses I get. I swear I could go on Jeopardy,” said the bubbly 35-year-old artist.
If there is a celebrity version of the series, the actress, who won an Oscar in 2017 for her role in “La La Land,” is clear: She wants to “earn her accolades” by taking part in the standard version of the trivia game.
The game show Jeopardy, which inverts the traditional question-and-answer format, has been around for 40 seasons. The current host is Ken Jennings, a former contestant who appeared in 2004. He has won more than 74 consecutive games and collected more than $2.5 million.
