According to Henley Passport Index Cuban Directory, the Cuban passport will improve in the world rankings in 2024

Did you know that the Cuban passport has improved its world ranking compared to last year? This is what the renowned international index Henley Passport Index describes in its latest update from January 10, 2024. We will tell you about this supposed “improvement” below.

The Henley Passport Index is a ranking that measures the validity of passports worldwide based on the number of countries you can travel to without a visa. The index is compiled using exclusive information from IATA, the most trusted and comprehensive source for travel needs, and supplemented by research from Henley & Partners.

This index analyzes visa-free access of 199 passport types to 227 destinations. If a visa is not required or a visa on arrival, visitor permit or electronic travel authorization can be obtained, one point will be credited to this passport.

If a visa is required or a government-approved e-visa must be applied for before traveling, zero points will be awarded. This also applies if prior official approval is required to issue a visa upon entry. The total score for each passport is the sum of the points for each destination you can travel to without a visa.
