WWE Raw Report 1/15 Seth Rollins defends his championship against Jinder Mahal; Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch face off PRWrestling

Results from Monday evening.

Cody Rhodes comes to the ring but is quickly interrupted by Drew McIntyre. At first everything was cordial. McIntyre told Cody that he was proud of him and everything he had accomplished. McIntyre referenced her similar path back to WWE. McIntyre then turned to Cody and told him to stop dressing like a politician and using big words like a thesaurus.





Drew McIntyre asked why Cody Jey brought Uso back to Raw and why he was okay with CM Punk when CM Punk left WWE and with CM Punk “recently.” Rhodes says he will finish the story and mentions the fact that he defeated Drew McIntyre in his last match before Drew returned to WWE.

DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) defeated JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio.

Rhea Ripley comes out. She warned the Royal Rumble winner that if they chose her, they would waste their chance because Mommy is always on top. Becky Lynch interrupted Lynch and said they were two very different people with similar stories. Two people from foreign countries can do it best. Two people who were left at the last minute at WrestleMania one year and became faces of the industry the next year. Lynch said there are differences.



One of them won the main event of WrestleMania and the other didn't. There's a voice in Lynch's head that told him that Ripley might be better. Lynch had to prove he wasn't and he had to strip him of the title. He had to win the Rumble, point to the sign and declare that WrestleMania was Mommy vs. The Man. Ripley said, “There's only one other person who wants you to win the Royal Rumble more, and that's me.” See you at WrestleMania.

Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae defeat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven

Gunther came to the ring with Ludwig Kaiser and signed up for the Royal Rumble. He then turned his attention to Kaiser and congratulated him for injuring Kofi Kingston. Then Xavier Woods returned and immediately challenged Kaiser to a match.

Ludwig Kaiser defeats Xavier Woods by disqualification.

Akira Tozawa defeats Ivar.



Judgmet Day (Damian Priest and Finn Bálor) defeat Awesome Truth (R-Truth and The Miz).

Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark defeat Tegan Nox and Natalya.

Seth Rollins retains the world heavyweight title against Jinder Mahal. In the end, Damian Priest thought about taking advantage and activating his briefcase, but suddenly McIntyre appeared in the ring. They exchanged blows and fought up the ramp. Veer distracted the referee while Sanga handed a chair to Mahal. Rollins dodged the chair, but when the referee threw it, Veer hit Rollins with the briefcase. The referee threw Veer and Sanga out of the ring and soon after, Seth hit the Stomp for the win.
