[VIDÉO] “Unstoppable”: Watch Inès beat the shit out of her kidnapper – TVA Nouvelles

Nour Belkhiria had some very busy scenes to play in the last few episodes ofUntenable. Her character was trapped in a gloomy basement and it's the first time in her young career that the actress has had such a score to defend.

Inès Saïd made the mistake of sleeping with her ex-client Mylène Kirouac (Rebecca Vachon), who suffers from erotomania, the delusional illusion of being loved by someone. Mylène had crossed the line with singer Louna Rose (Roxane Bruneau) and her entire obsession was then transferred to her lawyer. When Inès told her that there would be no continuation of their brief romance, Mylène lost her temper and sequestered Inès, hoping to bring her to her senses…

Luckily, the young criminalist from the law firm Lapointe, MacDonald & Desjardins managed to escape in Monday's episode after rendering her captor unconscious, giving us a sigh of relief.

Traumatized

Inès, who, let's be honest, had an exuberant start to her career. After this painful experience, she will probably never be the same again. The character will be back after a necessary break in the Tuesday, January 23 episode.

Inès has just escaped, but she is disoriented.

Inès has just escaped, but she is disoriented.

“It wouldn’t have been normal for Inès to come back to the office the next morning,” said the actress. She will need some time to process all of this. It will not be easy. Returning to the office and practice will not be easy. You find it difficult to recover from such a traumatic event, you may even question your career.”

Could Inès have freed herself by confronting her captor sooner? “I was wondering, but when you're held hostage you don't know what to expect. Whatever Mylène is capable of, she still managed to get Inès there. I think we need to think about a strategy to persuade Mylène instead of being impulsive because you don't know what's up there. She might as well kill them. Mylène is unpredictable. But hey, Inès still hits him before running away.”

Resilience

Inès will have to show great resilience. “It will affect his confidence and ability to take on cases. The road will be bumpy. Fortunately, she can count on the help of her colleagues.”

With the arrival of Me Kim Nolin (Julie Trépanier), Inès is also “confronted with changes” in the company.

All captivity scenes were filmed on the same day

Nour Belkhiria experienced intense filming as all the captivity scenes were filmed on the same day.

“I finished the day and my voice was gone from all the screaming. That was a good thing because we made sure that there was a kind of crescendo so that I really understood what Inès was about. I think being in the same room all day has helped my acting,” said the actress, who will soon travel to Paris to see if her career there can take off alongside her projects in Quebec.

Sad to hear of the death of the creator and co-writer of “Indefensible.”

In addition, Nour Belkhiria reacted to the sudden death of Me Richard Dubé, the creator and co-author of Indefensible, speaking of “an immense loss within the team”.

“Without him none of this would exist. He was the idea and creator of the series. He was the one who introduced himself to Inès, so I have a lot to thank him for. Richard was there almost every time we filmed a trial. He coached us and supported us with his partner and co-author Izabel Chevrier.”

Produced by Pixcom in collaboration with Quebecor Content, the daily Indéfendable airs on TVA Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m. It is also available on TVA+.
