Former presenter Evaristo Costa updated his health status Itatiaia

Evaristo Costa, 47, has been in a public hospital in the United Kingdom since last week and updated his health status on Monday evening (15). The former Globo anchor was transferred to the unit due to complications from Chron's disease, which affects the gastrointestinal tract.

“Evaristo Costa is recovering significantly, without pain and in very good spirits. Chron's disease went into remission and the infection responded well to antibiotics. “Although it is just good news, the doctors thought it best to continue with intravenous medication, which is why the presenter does not yet have a discharge prognosis,” reads the note written by the journalist himself.

This Tuesday (17), Evaristo once again clarified Internet users' doubts about the hospital to which he is admitted. “Are all patients in good condition like you getting out of bed and moving around the hospital?” one person asked.

“Yes, everyone who is in good condition will be released and circulated. There is no reason to leave the patient in bed unnecessarily, I found this freedom great. They are the ones asking to go out, exercise, get some fresh air, but don't forget to come back in time to take your medication. I announce my departure and leave. “It is clear that I would not leave without authorization, I am under the responsibility of the doctors and the hospital,” he clarified.
